ROCA Industry is the first building materials holding listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange’s AeRO market and is a strategic project of ROCA Investments, which brings together Romanian companies active in the field of building materials manufacturing, under the umbrella of a specialized Holding.
Currently, ROCA Industry includes the following companies: BICO Industries, the largest domestic manufacturer of fiberglass mesh and fiberglass reinforcements and one of the most important European manufacturers, Sarcom, one of the largest manufacturers of paints and varnishes in Romania, and Eco Euro Doors, the largest Romanian manufacturer of doors for residential constructions, with a 27-year market experience.
The fourth company is TERRA IMPEX (based in the Vulcanesti Free Economic Zone, Republic of Moldova), indirectly owned through BICO. Having the same activity, i.e. the production of fiberglass mesh, the acquisition of 100% of Terra helped Bico expanded its activity.
The company's stock started trading on January 27th, 2022, under the stock symbol ROC1. Prior to listing, the company successfully held a private placement of its stock in December 2021, attracting from the BVB investors the amount of RON 50 million.
