ELECTROPLAST company, recently integrated into the ROCA Industry holding company, completed in July the first stage of the re-engineering of the production lines, by putting into operation a new isolation line.

In addition, aiming to align with the sustainability principles of the holding, the company is taking steps towards optimizing energy consumption and increasing energy efficiency. In this regard, ELECTROPLAST initiates the procedures for the purchase of alternating current motors, which will replace the older motors with higher consumption. The project aims to reduce electricity consumption, and implicitly, greenhouse gases, which are thus reduced by 41% for the respective equipment.

The purchase will also be completed by the implementation of an energy consumption monitoring system, funding being provided through the de minimis aid scheme for energy efficiency at the level of SMEs and large enterprises, within the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2.
